Place a Hold

Do you want to borrow something that’s currently checked out?  All you have to do is place a hold!  When you place a hold on something, the item will be put aside for you when it’s available and you can pick it up at our main branch (or whichever branch you indicate).  Placing holds also allows you to access material from other public libraries in Saskatchewan.

Once you request an item from another library, it gets transferred to us when it’s free.  We’ll notify you by email, telephone, or text message when you can pick up your holds, and you’ll find them to the right of our computers on a shelf that’s organized alphabetically by name.

For detailed instructions on how to place holds, please click here and click “Request Materials.”
