When you're a police officer assigned to dispatch duty, your work life can seem interminably boring. Such is the case for Asger, an officer who does not work in the field. Instead, he is attending to others' emergencies all day. Routing calls where they need to go, he is excellent at what he does-until he receives a call that confounds and terrifies him. A woman has been kidnapped-and suddenly this first responder's evening descends into madness. He quickly realizes that time is against him-and that there are some who may not want him to help.
