Literature Resource Center
Find up-to-date biographical information, overviews, full-text literary criticism and reviews on more than 130,000 writers in all disciplines, from all time periods and from around the world. Please note: This database is only available on-site at the library.
Ancestry Library Edition accesses thousands of databases and billions of names from documents from the 1300s to present day, from the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. There are historical maps, draft cards from World War I, census records, vital statistics, parish records, family trees, ships’ passenger lists, and much more. The database is updated often, with more original images added all the time.

Frontier Life
This online collection captures the lives of people living on the edge of European settlement across the various frontiers of North America, Africa, Australia and  New Zealand. Frontier Life brings together documents from sixteen archives and libraries around the world. This geographical spread of material allows users to take a comparative approach or focus on a particular region, making it ideal for teaching and student projects, as well as more in-depth scholarly research.

Indigenous Peoples of North America
Indigenous Peoples of North America provides users with a robust, diverse, informative source that will enhance research and increase understanding of the historical experiences, cultural traditions and innovations, and political status of Indigenous Peoples in the United States and Canada. Provides central access to government and other Saskatchewan publications.  Access government forms, legislation, news releases and bylaws or search the site by ministry/agency or subject area.

LegalTrac
Includes articles from all major law reviews and journals, specialty law and bar association journals, and legal newspapers. There are also articles on Federal and State Cases, and articles from the British Commonwealth, European Union, and other international bodies.

Including coverage of the COVID-19 outbreak, this database curates openly available content related to coronaviruses. Freegal
Freegal is a free music service from your library. All you need is your library card number and PIN! Freegal offers access to about 13 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog, and over 40,000 music videos. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 40,000 labels with music that originates in over 100 countries. You can also download the free Freegal mobile app for Apple, Android, and Kindle Fire!

hoopla
hooplaDigital allows you to stream thousands of movies, TV shows, and songs.  Once you borrow a title to stream, you’ll have access to it for a specified amount of time.  When your allotted borrow period is up, the title will automatically disappear from your account, so you don’t have to worry about returning it yourself! You can also download the hoopla app for your smartphone or tablet for streaming on the go! Visit your device’s app store to download.

Naxos Music Library
This is a comprehensive collection of music available online, and includes the complete catalogue of over 130,000 tracks. While listening, you can read notes about the works being played and biographical information on composers and artists. PressReader is a newer and  more user friendly version of your old favourite, PressDisplay! It offers full-text access to your favourite newspapers and magazines, just how they appear in print form. Flipster is a next-generation digital magazine solution that makes it easy for you to read your favorite magazines on your computer or mobile device. This database provides ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice for thousands of products and services.  There is also in-depth advice, tips and trends written by Consumer Reports experts.  Frequently updated articles, blogs and video content allow consumers to peruse the latest consumer news — whether they’re looking to learn more about budget-friendly home improvement plans, understanding the benefits and risks of retirement options, or searching for the latest recalls of baby products.

Encyclopedia Britannica
