At the JMCPL we’re proud to offer a wide range of children’s programming.  These programs will strengthen the imagination, creativity, and literacy of your children and will set them on the path to becoming life-long learners.  Oh yeah, and they’ll also have a lot of fun while they’re at it!  Click on the links to the left to access more specific program information.  You can also access our Online Programs Calendar for a complete list of programming.

June 8, 2019

Max is a dog who lives a happy life with his owner in a Manhattan apartment complex. Max has made friends with all of the pets in the building, and he even has friends in the building across the street. Max's owner disrupts life by bringing home the sloppy and inconsiderate dog, Duke. Max and Duke do not get along, but they have to put all of that behind them when they find out that an abandoned bunny pet is gathering all of the other pets together to take revenge on the pets with homes. Seems like kitty does a lot more than sleep when you are at work all day.

June 13, 2019

Hug-a-Tree and Survive is an AdventureSmart program that helps lost children survive in the woods. It teaches children how not to become lost in the woods, and what to do should they become lost. Hug-A-Tree and Survive is a great program to bring into your family, classroom, guide or scout unit, youth group, or any other community group interested in teaching kids about being safe.

Presented by volunteers from Prince Albert North Search & Rescue.
