Trent Gillespie HeadshotTrent Gillespie is a self published author and has lived in Prince Albert since 2007. He started writing in Grade 12 when he drafted the first chapter of what would become the beginning of his Galactic Odyssey Science Fiction book series. However, the story was created in a dream he had when he was 7 years old and is still developed and added onto today. He has written four novels in his Galactic Odyssey Series, with book 5 set to arrive in 2018, and has been to the Saskatoon, Calgary, and Edmonton Fan Expos to promote his series to sci-fi/pop culture fans. Thanks to the harassment of, and inspiration from, his kids, he has written 4 books for his Pictures are Gone kids book series, and the popular stand alone story The week the Tooth Fairy got sick. When he is not writing, Trent is a teacher, actor & director with local Prince Albert Theatre groups, a member of the Off The Cuff Improv troupe, and an avid movie lover.
